The app that only adds

Every diet app takes food away. Dishfin only adds.

Snap your plate. Dishfin tells you what it can see, names what is missing, and suggests one easy add, preferably from food already in your kitchen.

No calories. No bans. Nothing in red. Free snaps, 3 a day.

The rules of the house

An addition-only plate.

01

No calories. No scores.

Dishfin never counts calories, macros or points, and it never grades the food you chose. What is already on your plate is only ever described, never judged.

02

Nothing gets banned.

There is one exception, and it is not a diet rule: the Safety Gate, which quietly checks every suggestion against your household's allergies, medications and never-list.

03

Your favourites stay.

Dishfin works with the meal in front of you, not the meal it wishes you had cooked. It adds a handful, a spoon, a squeeze. It takes nothing off the table.

How it works

From photo to one good idea.

  1. 1

    Snap the plate

Or type the meal instead. Typing is always free and works exactly the same way.

  2. 2

    “I think I see…”

The reader describes what it can see and says so honestly. Certainty comes in two plain levels: what it sees, and what it thinks it sees. You can fix anything it got wrong, and it remembers.

  3. 3

    What is missing

Dishfin names the gaps on the plate, the plant groups and ferments a week of eating tends to skip. On a thin read it says the read was thin, and guesses are labelled as guesses.

  4. 4

    One easy add

A single suggestion, checked against your Safety Gate, picked from your kitchen first. If it comes from the shop, it costs about $0.75 a serving or less.

The Diversity Garden

30 plants a week. An aim, not a test.

Variety is the quiet superpower of a plate. Every new plant you eat tends a bed in your Garden, and the week fills up the way real eating does: unevenly, and without a pass mark.

There is no streak to break and no day to ruin. Progress is how you feel: energy, fullness, gut comfort and sleep, noticed over time, never scored.

Family Table

One pot. Every plate different.

Cook one meal. Dishfin helps you plate it three ways, so nobody cooks twice and nobody eats a lesser dinner.

Grown-ups

The full plate, with the add that completes it.

Kids

The same pot, plated their way: familiar shapes, new tastes riding along in small, no-pressure amounts.

Toddler

The same pot again, made safe: textures, sizes and ingredients checked against toddler guidance from the CDC, AAP and NHS.

Every plate at the table passes the same Safety Gate, checked against each person's own never-list.

Dishfin Plus

It reads your fridge, too.

Snap up to four photos of your fridge and pantry. Dishfin drafts your shelves from them, and you confirm every item before it counts. Then the adds it suggests start from what you already own.

You check everything. Nothing enters your kitchen list unconfirmed, and dates are confirmed by you or labelled estimated.

Presence, never amounts. A photo can prove something is there. It cannot prove how much, and Dishfin never pretends it can.

Photos are not kept. A photo sent for a read travels to the reading service and is not stored on the way.

The Safety Gate

Dishfin describes. It never clears a plate as safe.

That sentence is the whole policy. Dishfin can describe a plate, spot likely gaps, and check any add it suggests against your household's never-list, allergies and medications. Only the cook knows what touched what, so the decision stays with the cook.

The Gate is the only place Dishfin ever says never, and it is careful even there: on warfarin, vitamin K is about keeping greens steady, never about blocking them, and big changes get referred to your pharmacist.

Safety and safe plating are free. Forever. They are never part of Plus.
